Diploma in Performing Arts

Sunway University

Program overview

Our Diploma in Performing Arts features an interdisciplinary curriculum that encompasses two major areas: theatre and film. Over the course of two years, students rigorously develop their knowledge and refine their foundational skills in both disciplines—onstage, backstage, in front of the camera, and behind the scenes.

Students benefit from a diverse, experienced, and dynamic faculty who embody current industry practices. In addition to lectures, the learning experience includes demonstrations, practical sessions, tutorials, viewings, discussions, performances, and field trips. Students are encouraged to express their unique voices and critically assess their work, with ample opportunities to create relevant and contemporary projects.
