Program overview

The Diploma in Communication (DCOM) at Sunway College is designed to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in advertising, corporate communication, public relations, marketing, and broadcasting. Students benefit from valuable industry experience through internships and engagement with industry professionals. Additionally, they gain insights into the business environment through community involvement and industry mentoring.

The DCOM program establishes a strong foundation for further studies in Communication at Sunway University and beyond. Successful graduates of the DCOM program can progress to the BA (Hons) in Communication and the BA (Hons) in Advertising and Branding at Sunway University, provided they meet the university's requirements.

Entry Requirements

SPM / O-Level

Pass with minimum 3 credits including English

Entry requirements

Diploma: high-school certificate or equivalent with suitable grades.

Typically IELTS 5 or equivalent (TOEFL / PTE). Some universities offer a preparatory English program if you haven't reached the score yet.
