Master of Disaster Risk Management

The Master of Disaster Risk Management (MDRM) at UTM University Malaysia aims to develop professionals equipped with the necessary skills for effective disaster risk management Through a combination of education, research, and practice, the program emphasizes evidence-based decision-making and actions

MJIIT excels in providing high-quality education and research opportunities in the DRM field, leveraging strong partnerships with DRM-related agencies, NGOs, and local governments These collaborations help translate theoretical knowledge into practical applications

The ultimate goal of the MDRM program is to establish a network of DRM professionals who can collaborate to build disaster resilience in their respective countries and communities Students in the program will join a diverse network of DRM professionals from various backgrounds and nations.

Entry Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree with good honours from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the Senate.
