Program overview

The Diploma in Graphic Design Program at City University Malaysia provides a studio-based approach to visual communication, emphasizing design thinking and problem-solving skills. It prepares students to thrive in a dynamic work environment. Through hands-on projects, students explore visual concepts in both two and three dimensions. In the second year, the program focuses on graphic design coursework and studios that delve into aspects such as authorship, audience, and medium selection.

Entry Requirements

Pass A-Level with a minimum of Grade D in any two (2) subjects AND a Pass in Mathematics and English at SPM Level or its equivalent.

  • Sudanese Student Administration Fee Waiver

    Up to 50% coverage

    A 50% discount is applied exclusively to the administration fee for Sudanese students. This waiver is deducted from the administration fee only and is secured upon applying to the City University Offer Letter.

  • Foundation Pathway Fee Waiver

    Up to 100% coverage

    This discount is open to students of all nationalities enrolled in the Foundation Pathway program. The tuition fee waiver is applied exclusively to the The final year of study effectively offsets the cost of the foundation year by the completion of the degree.

Entry requirements

Diploma: high-school certificate or equivalent with suitable grades.

Typically IELTS 4 or equivalent (TOEFL / PTE). Some universities offer a preparatory English program if you haven't reached the score yet.
