Bachelor of Information Systems (Honours) (Data Analytics)

The program emphasizes the development of analytical skills focused on technologies used in big data. By harnessing and analyzing vast amounts of data, organizations can derive significant value, making data-driven decision-making essential for enhancing efficiency and fostering continuous innovation. Throughout their studies, students will tackle practical, real-world challenges faced by companies, utilizing data sets under the guidance of analytics experts.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will receive a degree from Lancaster University, along with three certificates: one from Sunway University, one from Lancaster University, and a Joint Certificate from SAS Academy, specifically the SAS Joint Certificate in Big Data with Advanced Techniques in Data Science.

Additionally, the program includes the Alibaba syllabus, which focuses on the digital economy and e-commerce. Through this collaboration, students gain access to more opportunities and platforms that encourage young entrepreneurs and startups to develop their business ideas.
