Program overview

The Bachelor of Counselling and Guidance (Honours) Program at Managment & Science University (MSU) Malaysia prepares students for careers in counselling by focusing on guiding individuals towards mental health, wellness, and personal goals. The curriculum considers local culture and values, equipping students for multicultural counselling and specialized areas such as drug abuse and industrial counselling. The program emphasizes assessments, feedback, and practical experience through practicum placements in diverse settings like schools, hospitals, and organizations.

Entry Requirements

Pass STPM or equivalent with at least:

  • Pass with Grade C in 3 subjects including General Studies/ General Papers; or
  • Pass subjects with Grade C in 2 subjects including General Studies/ General Papers and Grade D in other 2 subjects.

Bachelor's: strong high-school results, a foundation, or a diploma.

Typically IELTS 5.5 or equivalent (TOEFL / PTE). Some universities offer a preparatory English program if you haven't reached the score yet.
