PhD (Education)

The PhD (Education) programme in Malaysia focuses on advanced research in many educational areas, such as transnational education and character development, in order to improve educational practices and policy. Students are encouraged to acquire research skills and contribute to new knowledge that benefits the Malaysian education system. The programme emphasises active research engagement with academia, industry, and international institutions, preparing students to play important roles in defining the future of education.

Entry Requirements

A Master’s Degree, as accepted by the HEP’s Senate.
