Master of Science (Information Assurance)

The Master of Science in Information Security Assurance (MRTA) program at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, offered by the Razak Faculty of Technology and Informatics, is designed to integrate digital forensic science, security engineering, IT risk management, and compliance with management systems and standards. The program aims to establish a safe and secure information society by equipping students with the knowledge and skills to combat emerging threats. By combining various disciplines, the MRTA program prepares students to address the complex challenges of information security, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of digital assets. Graduates of this program will contribute to the development of robust security measures and play a vital role in safeguarding valuable information in today's rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Entry Requirement

• A Bachelor’s Degree with good honours from Universiti Technology Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the Senate.
• A qualification equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree and experience in the relevant field recognised by the Senate.
