The Diploma in Fashion Media at Sunway University allows you to expand your creative horizons with Malaysia’s first program that innovatively integrates fashion design and media communication within the dynamic fashion industry

Graduates will be well-versed in creating fashion-related content and communication across multiple platforms They will also gain valuable networks and insights into the fashion scene, preparing them for exciting opportunities in this fast-evolving field.

Entry Requirements

SPM/O-Level

Pass with min. 3 credits

  • Introduction to Drafting and Sewing
  • Fashion Media Design 1
  • Fashion Media Design 2
  • Visual Merchandising
  • Fashion Styling
  • 3D Digital Fashion Design
  • Fashion Branding
  • Digital Photography

Year 2

Students will learn the following subjects in the second year:

  • Fashion Management
  • Fashion Photography
  • Professional Practice
  • Final Project
  • Fashion Media Design 3
  • Textiles for Fashion
  • Event Management
  • Fashion Enterprise
  • Internship (3 months)

MOHE General Studies

Students must pass these MOHE General Studies:

For Local Students

  • Penghayatan Etika dan Peradaban
  • Bahasa Kebangsaan A (for students who did not sit for SPM or did not obtain a Credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu) OR Creativity and Innovative Thinking Skills (for students with a Credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu)
  • Moral Education OR Islamic Studies
  • Kursus Integriti dan Anti-Rasuah (KIAR)
  • Education for Sustainable Development
  • Community Service
